Hanoï, le 2 août 2026 My name is Quán Phong. I have an elder sister named Quán Thị Minh Hà, who was born in 1950 (her exact date and month of birth are unknown). She would now be 76 years old. In 1953, when my sister Hà was only three years old, our mother entrusted her to a cousin of the family, Mr Phạm, who lived in Hanoi (I had to address him as “bác”, a Vietnamese term used for an older relative; unfortunately, I no longer remember his first name). At that time, our mother had to leave for the resistance zone. At the time, our cousin, Dr Phạm, worked as a doctor at Phủ Doãn Hospital, which is now known as Việt-Đức Hospital and Hospital C for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Hanoi. In 1954, before the liberation of Hanoi, Mr Phạm’s family migrated to South Vietnam. As a result, my sister Hà became separated from our family and we subsequently lost contact with her. In 1975, following the reunification of Vietnam, my father travelled to the South and placed newspaper advertisements in an attempt to find my sister Hà, but unfortunately no information was received. Today, 2 August 2026, I am posting this appeal online and asking for help from the Vietnamese community, both in Vietnam and abroad. If anyone has any information about my sister Hà, or knows where she or her family may currently be living, I would be extremely grateful if you could contact me and share any information you may have. For contact in Vietnamese, please call: (+84) or [SĐT đã ẩn] For contact in English or French, please call: 0032 473 246 889 Thank you very much in advance for your kindness, assistance and any information that may help us find my sister Hà.
